The University of Social Sciences and Humanities ((ポーランド語:Szkoła Wyższa Psychologii Społecznej (Higher School of Social Psychology))) is a private university in Poland affiliated with the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology and the Institute of Psychology, Polish Academy of Sciences. SWPS was founded in 1996 by Andrzej Eliasz, Zbigniew Pietrasiński and Janusz Reykowski, former professors of the Institute of Psychology at the Polish Academy of Sciences. SWPS is one of the largest private universities in Poland. It consists of eight faculties in five cities (Warsaw, Wrocław, Sopot, Poznań and Katowice).
